Dr. Kerri Zavota – Port Orange, FL – Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia

Dr. Kerri Zavota

Received her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. After graduation, she went on to complete a 13-month internship at the University's small animal hospital, where she spent much of her time managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. In 2010 Dr.Z left the UK for sunny Florida and has been working in the field of veterinary emergency care since her arrival. Her special interests include emergency and critical care, anesthesia/analgesia, and neurology. She is a member of the AVMA, FVMA, VFVMA, AAHA and the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).

Erin Noe – Port Orange, FL – Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia

Erin Noe - Office Manager

Erin is from Austin, Texas. After working at small animal clinics in Ft. Lauderdale and Virginia, she moved to Daytona Beach in 2013. She has over ten years experience in caring for animals. Erin currently works at a local daytime veterinary practice, along with working nights at VECEV. Erin has a particular interest in emergency medicine and behavioral medicine. When Erin is not caring for patients she enjoys spending time with her son and gardening (she has a book!).

Billy Blackwell – Port Orange, FL – Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia

Billy Blackwell

Billy was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. He began working in shelter medicine/surgery immediately after high school where he developed valuable skills and an interest in veterinary medicine. Billy has been comparing CVT courses and hopes to enroll in the fall semester. At home he has 3 cats and a 5-year-old Cane Corso that he rescued.

Lisa Nygren – Port Orange, FL – Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia

Lisa was born and raised in the Daytona Beach area and has been working in the veterinary field since 1999. She currently works at a local day practice as well as VECEV. Lisa spends all her free time with her daughter, 2 dogs and 3 cats. One day she hopes to have a big enough house to bring home a few senior pets to live out their golden years and be happy, comfortable and loved.

Raven Camp – Port Orange, FL – Veterinary Emergency Center of East Volusia

Raven Camp

Raven was born and raised in Ohio. Since a young age, Raven has always loved animals. Through high school, she worked closely with a variety of animal programs in both 4-H and FFA. In 2010 she moved to Florida and started working at a day practice shortly after. This is where she developed her interest in veterinary medicine. After receiving her Veterinary Assistant Certification she was excited to join the VECEV team and continue her learning focusing on emergency medicine. Raven enjoys the variety of cases seen working at VECEV. She hopes to continue her education in the veterinary field. Raven spends her free time with her herd of animals including her many cats, hounds, rabbit, and horse.
